when I got home from TFF on monday I found my apartment had been burglarized. Computer and tablet were taken among other things

now to assuage worries: I'm okay, I wasn't there when it happened. I have insurance. I do still have like 99% of my files, though several from February and March are missing from backup. Most everything else was on the cloud.

I've been trying to get everything together again quickly but it's been rough going. the first computer I ordered from amazon turned out to be a dud, and I'm still waiting on the replacement tablet. might be the end of the month before anything's back to normal again

on top of this, my car's in rough shape. it was damaged during TFF and I'm basically out of mulligans from my car insurance, so trading it in for something better sure seems like the only thing I can do at the moment if I want to save money long-run
